The current trio consists of Rich Halley, Clyde Reed or Andre St James and Carson Halley. The original trio was Rich, Clyde Reed and Dave Storrs. Rich has performed with Clyde Reed for more than a decade in a variety of settings. Rich Halley and Dave Storrs have performed together for over 30 years in different contexts including Multnomah Rhythm Ensemble, Freezer Burn, Outside Music Ensemble, Tone Sharks and as a duo. Rich, Clyde and Dave performed together in the Rob Blakeslee Quartet which can be heard on the CD Waterloo Icehouse. The Rich Halley Trio has released three CD's on Louie Records.



Clyde Reed is a creative music bass stalwart of the Vancouver B.C. scene and an economics professor at Simon Fraser University. Clyde is one of the founders of the NOW Orchestra and has performed with Barry Guy, Leo Smith, George Lewis, Bobby Bradford, Rob Blakeslee, Vinny Golia, Peter Brotzmann and many leading Canadian musicians.

Carson Halley
Carson Halley
Carson Halley is a drummer and percussionist based in Oregon. Carson studied with Bobby Bradford when he was at Pitzer Collge and later began playing with his father. He has eclectic musical tastes and brings the musical sensibilities of his generation to the music. Carson has performed with a variety of jazz and rock groups including Shakespeak, The Wayward Trio, Ruby Starfruit and Forcefields.
